Albert Joseph Barela, Sr.

Joe Barela resident of Bernalillo, New Mexico Passed away Feb 11, 2025 after a long battle with Lupus.
He is proceed in Death by his Mother Erlinda Barela His Father Elugio Barela and his brother Ruben Barela.
Joe is survived by his Son Albert Joseph Barela Jr., Monica Martinez, his Brother Armando Barela, his Nephew Robert Barela.
Joe worked for the same company for 40 years and was very dedicated to his job and customers.
Joe's greatest joy in life was his family Albert and Monica. He was proud to be the father of his only son and was a great provider to his family, he has left them with very precious memories that will live in their hearts forever.
Joe's hobbies were traveling, camping and his Harley Davidsons, Joe's favorite place was the
"Norte". Anyone that knew Joe, know him as Barela!!
His Heart will always be in the north where he loved and had an abundance of friends that were his familia.
Service for Joe will be held at San Francisco de Assis Church in Ranchos de Taos on July 8 at 10:00 AM . A private burial will proceed at a later date in Albuquerque
