Allen Lewis Perea, age 88, a long-time resident of Belen, NM passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on the evening of September 28, 2022.
Allen was born July 25, 1934, in Albuquerque, New Mexico at home to Romolo and Frances Perea. Allen was the youngest of 6 children. Allen is proceeded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and his beloved wife of 43 years Shirley Kay. Allen is survived by his 7 children. Roy (Dolores) Eddie, Gilbert, Fred (Betty), Janice, Vivian, and Ruben.
Allen had 15 grandchildren 27 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter. He will be missed by everyone including his best friend Leonard. Allen will always be remembered for his famous doughnuts and his Shirley Kay's doughnut shop in Los Lunas.
