Amanda Kay (Griffin) Griego, 37, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026. Amanda was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She was a pocket full of sunshine—her cheerfulness, compassion, and laughter were contagious and left a lasting impact on everyone blessed enough to know her.
Amanda cherished her family above all else. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and wife whose support, guidance, and devotion shaped the lives of those around her. She strived to be a devoted partner to her husband, Elijah, and a strong, inspiring role model for her daughters—Nevaeh, Olivia, and Amelia.
Amanda brought joy into every season, celebrating each holiday to the fullest with thoughtful decorations and meaningful traditions. Her creativity shone through in her beautiful landscaping, her passion for gardening, and the whimsical touches she added to her yard—especially the pigs and cows she proudly displayed for each Matanza. She was the best Matanza host, always rocking her pink cowgirl boots with confidence and charm. Sunflowers were her signature touch, brightening her home and garden just as she brightened the lives of those around her. All of these traditional gifts will proudly be passed on to her children.
Amanda had a deep love for animals, a love that was especially evident in the bond she shared with her horse and best friend, Bella. Their connection reflected Amanda's gentle spirit and her ability to care deeply and wholeheartedly.
She held a profound admiration for her big brother, David Griffin. She was immensely proud of him and never missed an opportunity to boast about his accomplishments. Her love for him was evident in every word she spoke.
Amanda had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued, and her resilience carried her through both life's brightest moments and its most difficult challenges.
She is survived by her husband, Elijah; her daughters, Nevaeh, Olivia, and Amelia; her parents, Larry and Kay Griffin; and her beloved brother, David.
