Ana Eva (Silva) Hirschfeld

Ana Eva Hirschfeld, 87, a resident of Belen, NM, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2022.  She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, the Legion of Mary, the Widow’s Mite and a prayer group of friends that would meet on Fridays to pray the rosary.  Ana was a devoted Catholic and instilled her Love and Faith in the Lord to all her children and to whomever was lucky enough to know her.  Ana was a foster grandparent at La Merced Elementary for 15 years, she so loved the children.  Ana was preceded in death by her father Jose Silva, her mama Tillie Silva, brother David Silva, brother and sister-in-law Porfirio and Amelia Silva, sons, Randy Silva and Rodney Hirschfeld, grandson Jason Marquez, great granddaughter Azalea Hirschfeld, son-in-law’s Robert Jaramillo and James Sanchez.  She is survived by daughter-in-law Sylvia Silva, son Jacob Hirschfeld, son Joseph Hirschfeld and wife Lenora, daughter Brenda Sanchez, daughter Angel Marentes and husband Al, daughter Sophia Marquez and husband Glen, daughter Paula Rodriguez and husband Steve, son Ben Hirschfeld, daughter Stella Rangel, daughter Fran Harris, son Larry Moya and wife Kim, son John Serna and wife Monica, her brother and sister in-law Alex and Angie Silva, and sister, Irene Sanchez. . Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Services for Ana will take place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church in Belen, New Mexico. A Visitation will take place at 9:00 am, followed by the Rosary at 9:30 am. A Mass will be recited at 10:00 am.  An inurnment will take place following the Mass at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens immediately following the mass. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
