On November 13, 2025, Anna Isabel Marquez of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 25, 1954, to Eddie and Onecima (Saiz) Marquez, Anna lived a life filled with love and joy.

Anna leaves behind her children, Marcus Taylor and Diana & Alton Peoples; her cherished grandchildren, Donovan, Gianna, and Mayson; and her sister-in-law, Rosemary Marquez. Each of them carries a part of her in their hearts.

She is reunited in passing with her parents, Eddie and Onecima Marquez, and her brothers, Edwin Marquez and Eddie Marquez Jr.

To meet Anna was to feel welcomed. She had a rare, genuine way of embracing everyone she encountered never seeing strangers, only future friends. Her laughter, her warmth, and her open-hearted spirit touched everyone around her.

Her family and loved ones will hold tightly to the memories of her gentle presence and the love she shared without hesitation.

A Funeral mass in honor of Anna will be held on Saturday, November 29, at Saint Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, New Mexico, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m.
