Armando Barela

Armando Barela, 59, of Belen, New Mexico, passed away June 13th, 2021. Born April 4th 1962 to Romona Vinson, he was a beloved son, brother and father. He is survived by his mother; his two sisters, Kelly Gonzalez and Vicky Vinson; his 15 children, Vanessa, Monique, Armando Jr, Maria, John, Nathan, Mandi, Megan, Jacob, Mariah, Dominick, Dylan, Marty, Mylah and Mateece and his 24 grandchildren. Armando had a big impact on the lives of many in the community. He loved fishing, hunting, telling his stories to anyone he would meet and laughing while spending time with his family and friends. He will greatly be missed, loved and remembered always for the strong, big-hearted man he lived as.
