Barry J Bottini

Former Los Lunas resident Barry J. Bottini, 62, passed away on May 19, 2021 surrounded by family. Barry was wise, artistic, and had a heart of gold. His generous nature was truly remarkable. Barry attended Mayfield High school and Lancaster beauty school. He had a dynamic work ethic and a knack for mentoring troubled youth. Above all, Barry took pride in raising his 3 children. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Rosemary Bottini, and three nephews, Jason Pena, Jaime Sanchez, and Daniel Sullivan. He is survived by his children Jacquelyn Grapentine, Jolene Bottini, and Butch Bottini, his grandsons Thomas, Carter and Matthew Grapentine, his siblings Deborah Pena, Brenda Spencer, Richard Bottini, Cynthia Bottini, Marie Sullivan, Christine Franzoy (David), Daniel Bottini (Trish), 20 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. A beloved son, father, brother, uncle, friend; Barry was a beautiful soul who was loved by many. His sharp wit and generous spirit will never be forgotten. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Presbyterian Hospital for their gracious care and compassion.
