Belinda Louise Padilla

Belinda Padilla, age 64 passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted and loving family on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Belinda was born in Socorro, New Mexico to Damian Padilla Jr. and Leah Padilla on October 14, 1958. She was raised in Socorro, and many people remember her from her many years as a medical assistant at Bhasker Medical Clinic. She moved to Colorado in 2002 and resided there with her son until moving back to New Mexico in 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Zarek Padilla; and her Grand-dog, Ricky Boy. She is survived by her children, daughter, Cassandra "Shanna" Anaya (Bernice Werner) and son, JR Anaya Bourquet; sisters, Kim Padilla and Nell (Padilla) Rose (Victor); grandchildren, Nichollas Werner, Andrew Werner (Nancy), Pete Werner; great grandchildren Davy Werner and Grayson Werner; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Belinda never met a stranger. Everyone who met her loved her for her kindness and sense of humor. She loved to laugh and was secretly a practical joker. If you were one of the lucky ones, you knew her favorite gesture. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family. Neil Diamond was her favorite singer, and she was grateful to have seen him in concert many times. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A viewing and visitation for Belinda will take place on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 3: 30 pm at Noblin Funeral Service, Belen Chapel, 418 West Reinken Avenue, Belen, New Mexico. A Rosary will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at San Miguel Church, Socorro, New Mexico at 9:30am. A Mass will immediately follow at 10:00am. An inurnment will follow the Mass at the San Miguel Cemetery. A reception will then be held at the Socorro Senior Center. Honorary Pallbearers are Nichollas Werner, Andrew Werner, Pete Werner, Dillon Padilla, James Dewald.
