It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjamin Arnold Ross Sr., who passed away on July 16, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 60. He was born November 6, 1965 in Elgin, Ill.

Ben dedicated much of his life to working as a drywaller and taper, earning the respect of those who knew him through his hard work and determination. In the final months of his beloved wife, April, he stepped away from his career to care for her with unwavering love and devotion, a reflection of the deep commitment he had to his family.

Ben had a passion for adventure and truly lived life on the edge. Whether he was jumping off cliffs, bungee jumping, or seeking his next thrill, he embraced every opportunity to experience life to the fullest. His adventurous spirit, fearless nature, and larger-than-life personality will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Ben was preceded in death by his beloved wife, April; his mother, Vici Aguiniga; his stepfather, Bob Aguiniga; his father, Clayton Ross; and his brother, Timothy Ross Sr.

He is survived by his three children: Janie (Joe) and their children, Athena and Lillian; Benjamin Jr. (Ashley) and their children, Myles, Ben, Emma, and Lola; and Jeffery (Jennifer) and their children, Kristina, Emberly, and Amelia. He is also survived by his four brothers, Jeff, Duane, Craig, and Mitchell, along with many other grandchildren, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives he touched.

Though his family grieves his loss, they take comfort in the memories of his adventurous spirit, his strength, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Ben will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
