Bernadette (Garcia) Riddle

Bernadette Garcia Riddle, 72 years old from Belen, New Mexico Passed away on May 28, 2021. She was born August 26, 1948, to Martiniano and Nikki Garcia. Bernadette was lovingly known as Bennie to her friends and family. Bernadette was a beautiful and caring person. Her smile would brighten anyone's day especially her heart's biggest love, her son, Rusty. Bernadette was an artist and an art teacher at JFK Middle School in Gallup, New Mexico and Belen Elementary and Middle Schools. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, making all types of arts and crafts and decorating her home. She was a member of the Catholic Church and as a child attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Belen. Bernadette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Riddle Sr., father, Martiniano Garcia; mother, Escolastica (Nikki) Garcia and sister, Susan Garcia. She is survived by her son, Floyd (Rusty) Martin Riddle; half-brother; half-sisters and many cousins. Bernadette will be forever in our hearts. Services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Church Monday, June 7, 2021. A viewing at 9:00 a.m., rosary at 9:30 a.m. and funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Ed Vallejos and Lucille Otero.
