Bobbie Sue Martinez, 65, a resident of Los Chaves, NM went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Bobbie Sue was born on November 19, 1959, in T or C, NM. The family moved to Bernalillo, NM where she was raised and met her husband, Jerry. They got married on July 7, 1979, and moved briefly to Albuquerque, NM before moving the family to Los Chaves, NM. Bobbie Sue made a living as a nurse's aide working at St. Josephs Downtown hospital.
Bobbie Sue lived for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the perfect grandmother, always ready to pick up or drop off the grandkids at school or any sporting event. She was the baseball grandma; you could find her at all her grandchildren's baseball game cheering them on. When her knees would give her problems, she was still there honking the horn from her vehicle. Bobbie Sue was so proud of her grandchildren. She loved her family, especially those long phone conversations with her sisters and aunt Josie. Bobbie Sue loved her drives around Valencia County, plants, flowers and hummingbirds, a passion that she shared with her late husband, Jerry. Her love, laughter, outspokenness, and chatterbox personality will be deeply missed.
Bobbie Sue was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, infant son, James, son Martin, infant grandson, Devin, and her father, Robert McClellan.
Bobbie Sue is survived by her sons, Jerome and wife Savannah, Patrick; grandchildren, Isaac, James, Andrew, Anthony, Jordan and Rebecca; great grandchildren, Santiago and Javier; mother, Susie Fellhower; mother-in-law, Aurora Martinez; sisters, Polly and Albert Lucero, Sally Garcia, Grace and Steve Baca; brother, Clyde McClellan; many nieces, nephews, and dear family and friends.
