Bradley Schultz Obituary

Bradley Schultz, a unique soul with a generous spirit, passed away peacefully in his home on October 30, 2025, in Los Lunas, New Mexico. He was 63 years old.

Born on February 4, 1962, in Bottineau, North Dakota, Brad eventually made his way to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he spent most of his adult life before settling in Los Lunas. A true handyman and natural-born mechanic, Brad had a gift for fixing just about anything—and doing it in a way that was uniquely his own. He didn’t dwell on problems; he solved them, often with a creative twist and a quiet confidence.

Brad lived simply, but his heart was anything but. He had a deep, unwavering love for animals—especially those without a home. Whether it was a stray cat, a curious raccoon, or even a wandering skunk, Brad made sure they were fed and had a safe place to rest. He often put their needs before his own, a testament to his selflessness and compassion. Generous to a fault, Brad was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.

Brad also had a green thumb and a deep appreciation for nature. He found joy in gardening and had a particular fondness for trees—especially fruit-bearing ones. His yard was a living testament to his love of horticulture, filled with life. One of the things that will be missed most about Brad is his sense of humor. He could always find the funny side of life-even when the joke was on him. His humor was quick and lighthearted. And he shared many laughs with his family and friends.

Brad is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Yvonne Schultz; his brothers, Mitchell and Douglas Schultz; and his grandparents, Hans and Mimi Thorsgaard. Though he is no longer with us, Brad’s legacy of generosity and quiet strength lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Brad will be missed but never forgotten.
