Calvin Edgar Justice, Jr.

Calvin “Buddy” Justice of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away on March 23, 2026, in his home. He was born in Hobbs, New Mexico in 1938, to Calvin Edgar Justice Sr. and Myrtle Jimana Moore, but his earliest memories were of Albuquerque, New Mexico where he grew up. He graduated from Albuquerque High in 1956, and married his high school sweetheart Marilyn Cook in August of the same year. Buddy moved to Los Lunas in 1970, where he established Cottonwood Sales and Service doing heating, refrigeration and air conditioning for homes, businesses, and dairies across the state. He enjoyed gardening, and raising cattle, and he was a stalwart member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his son Michael Bruce Justice. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his children Tom and Pam Justice, Sheila Justice, Jon and Melinda Justice, Suzy and Lonnie Cox, Sally and Griffin Pope, Joe and Angela Justice, and many grandchildren great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Los Lunas Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 160 James St NW, Los Lunas, NM on Friday April 3, 2026, at 1030 AM.
