Corrine Padilla died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on March 22, 2025. She was born on October 7,1934 in Jarales, New Mexico to Refugio and Flora Urtiaga.
Corrine was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Dimas Padilla her two sisters Lilly Lopez and Lorecita Olguin and her two brothers Eloy and Benny Urtiaga. She was mother of LeRoy Padilla Donna Chavez and James Padilla. She is also survived by her brother's Adolfo and George Urtiaga and one sister Rosie Baca. Corrine's 9 loving grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
She spent most of her married life as a housewife, she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Corrine loved to send text messages and leave voice- messages expressing her love to all of us. She loved playing on her tablet she spent time doing word searches and playing cards. She also loved making home - made fresh tortillas and sopapillas with a fresh pot of bean and chili. Our mother loved the Lord and prayed daily.
The family would like to give they're thanks to the staff at Roadrunner Hospice who provided compassionate and attentive care, A special thanks to her nurses Francine and Josephine.
