Daniel M. Madrid

Daniel "Danny" Max Madrid age 71 a resident of Los Chavez, NM, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Danny joined his wife, Tina of 46 years. Danny and Tina were faithful members of San Clemente Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years and participated in many church events. Danny is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ernestine "Tina" Madrid, his parents Andy & Esther Madrid and brother in law Louie Garcia. He is survived by his loving family; daughters, Elizabeth Madrid and husband, Ken Padilla, Rebecca & Denny Apachito, and Stephanie & Devon Laumbach, along with his grandsons Zeb & Flint Apachito and granddaughter Sadie Laumbach; sister Peggy Garcia, and brothers Andrew "Humpy" Madrid & wife Gloria, and Leroy Madrid & wife Mary; sister in laws, Stella Lucero, Juanita Griego, Corina Torrez and Cleo Naranjo; brother in laws Polinario Chavez & wife Bernice and Daniel Chavez; Maternal Aunts Carmen Chavez, Phyllis Ulibarri, Carol Anaya & husband Sam and Ernie Gutierrez & wife Juanita, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Danny enjoyed food, listening to music and was a proud father and grandfather. Danny had a big heart and was a generous man. He loved his Coronado hot dogs, hamburgers, of course chile, enchiladas, and he also liked his Coke a Cola. Daniel proudly worked with maintenance of heavy equipment and road construction alongside his dad in his early years of life. Most recently he worked with Ken maintaining Ken's rentals and loved working with Ken at Padilla's Automotive Services or also known as "The Go Too Guys." He would tell you that, "I did the best that I could do". One of Daniel's famous saying was, "They don't make men like me anymore." Nope Danny they sure don't, you will be missed. Danny would like you to know, "That everything is alright."
