Darlene Melody (Gurule) Vizcarra

Darlene "Melody" Vizcarra was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away on November 12, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born to Dan and Clara Gurule on November 11, 1964. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa and Yuri. She loved her grandchildren Elijah, Evan, and Ava. She is also survived by her sisters, Denise and Debbie; Brothers, Delbert, Gary, Dale, and David and her partner Connie. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara who welcomed her home.

Melody loved being a teacher's assistant with Belen Consolidated Schools. She dedicated collectively over 10 plus years of her life working at various schools. She gave her heart to the students she served every day. She was a revered soccer coach, coworker, and friend.
A special thank you to Barbara, Melody's childhood friend, who has shown so much love and support for Melody and her family during this difficult time.
