David was born in Denver, Colorado. His explorative nature took him traveling across the United States. He even ventured to Panama to surf and fish. His numerous adventures eventually brought him to New Mexico where he made Los Lunas his home. He studied at VNM pursuing his passion for the arts and music. He fell in love with the live entertainment industry. He became an expert in lighting, sound, and rigging. He passionately passed on his knowledge of the stage to his daughter Jennifer. And many, many more. The music industry wasn't his only master in tile, welding, woodworking, masonry, and everything he put his stubborn mind to. David's free spirit will be missed beyond words.
David is survived by his only daughter Jennifer Thyfault and wife Sarah Stinger son Aaron Martindell, Cherri Martindell and family, ex-wife Jinna Thyfault life long friend Carla Place and the Place Family, Danny Chavez and the entire NRG Staging Family and to the many friends to name
