Dennis Roy Coberly

Dennis Coberly, age 86, a resident of Rio Communities, NM, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was kind, caring, and a friend to all who knew him. He was honest to a fault and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Dennis was an avid collector of guns, machinery, and art, and his art collection was featured in the Los Lunas Art Gallery, having been showcased as the largest Southwestern art collection around. He was passionate for his love of art, books, history, and Western television. Dennis always prioritized his family, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nikie Angelos; parents, Loren and Margret Coberly; and his brother, Craig Coberly.

Dennis is survived by his eight children, Raelyn, Loren "Buck", Troy, Spring, Myriah, Christopher, Shiloh and Patrick; as well as his sister, Sue.

Services for Dennis will take place on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 am followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 am. Dennis will be laid to rest at a later date in his Home State of Iowa.
