Doyle Nelson, age 81, of Belen, New Mexico passed away on November 16, 2023.

Doyle is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Nelson.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Nelson; Sharon and Jermaine Thompson; children, Doyle Nelson Jr, Leona Wagner, Dawn Nelson; step-children, Jennifer Hamsing, and Melissa Anderson; as well as many grandchildren, and a few great-grandchildren.

Doyle was a member of the Elk's Lodge and the American Legion. He enjoyed boating and listening to his favorite country and gospel music. He loved steadfastly and always enjoyed his puppy dogs.

There will be no services held for Doyle.

"I wish I had met you sooner, so we would have more time together."
