who was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loved ones at home on Saturday April 24th 2021. He was born on September 12, 1944 in Mountainair NM. He proudly served in the United States Army for 12 years and was Vietnam Veteran. Earnest enjoyed the outdoors, loved to go camping and fishing, he also loved to have his family around all the time. He was preceded in death by his mother Ramona Bernal, father Louis Padilla, brother Pete "Pedro" Padilla, and sister Patty Leaton. He is survived by his daughters Ramona Padilla, Liza Padilla, Arlene Padilla and Tina Padilla, Brothers Joe Padilla and wife Frances, David Padilla and wife Marilyn, Ruben Padilla and wife Cindy. Sisters Mary Adams and husband Ron, Linda Padilla, Irene Montoya, Judy Harris and husband Tracy, Jeannette Tate and husband Steve. 13 grandchildren, over 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Earnest was a one of a kind individual who was selfless, compassionate, generous and above all he loved to make others laugh and will be greatly missed.
