Edwardo Guadalupe Palacios

 Eduardo Guadalupe Palacios, Jr was a loving father, brother, great-grandfather and friend. He left this world suddenly in his home in Belén New Mexico on June 3, 2021 at the age of 66. He was born to Nadine and Eduardo Palacios June 7, 1954 in El Paso Texas. Ed proudly served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne, during the Vietnam war as a paratrooper. He later worked and retired from General Electric as a machinist where he built aircraft engines. Ed was a family man adored by his children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Ed’s arrival was often preceded by the rumble of his Harley or classic rock from his open truck window. Ed enjoyed teaching people to fish and sharing his appreciation of the natural world. He was a natural storyteller and always the social center of his friends and family. He has accepted us all for who we are, without judgment, and cared for others as if they were family. His love, smile and laughter will be dearly missed. May he rest in power and remain with us in our memory. An inurnment for Edward will take place on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 2:15 pm at the Sante Fe National Cemetery. A procession, led by the Patriot Guard, Belen chapter, will be departing from Noblin Funeral Service at 12:00 pm, leading Edwardo to his place of rest. Any family or friends wanting or able is welcome to join in Edwardo's "final ride." Immediately following the inurnment, a celebration of life gathering will be held at the Steel Bender Brew Yard, 8305 2nd Street NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
