Esther Haskew Parkinson, 91, of Bosque Farms, New Mexico, died surrounded by family on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Presbyterian Hospice Of Albuquerque.
Esther was born in Engle, New Mexico, on May 14, 1934 to the late Anastacio Martinez and Manuelita Alderete Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, a brother, her daughter, Ollie Bell Sanchez and her husband, Richard "Red" Parkinson.
She is survived by her daughters; Helen Deehl, Nancy Burghart, Penny Herrin and her husband, Sandy Herrin, M.D., her sons; Clayton Haskew and his wife Jane and Billy Joe Haskew and his wife Gloria. Esther is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.
Esther was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The impact of her passing is immeasurable and has left a void that time cannot fill.
