Esther Louise (Williams) Johnson

Esther Louise Johnson, 90 of Los Lunas, NM passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 25, 2026. She is with our Lord and Savior along with her husband, brothers, sister and parents. Esther was born on June 30, 1936, to E.F. and Ruth Williams in Dalhart, TX. Esther graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1954. She married the love of her life, Joseph F. Johnson II, on November 15, 1955. She was known for her kindness, and her devotion to family. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling and spending time with her many grandchildren. Esther and her husband worked together running their own businesses, including Joe's Truck and Equipment Service, J & E Enterprises, and Bosque Farms Pumping Service. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph F. Johnson II, who passed
away exactly 15 years earlier, her parents, E.F. and Ruth Williams, her sister Wanda and her brothers Lester, Charles, and Hugh. She is

survived by four brothers, Ron (Delia), Don (Debbie), David (Kathy) and Jim. Her six children, Pam Remalia, Joseph F Johnson III (Dell), Patricia Armijo (Horacio),Peggy Williams (Doug), Paula Bogart (Monty), and Penni Atwood. 12 grandchildren, Justin, Joseph, John, Joseph IV, Erin, Keiten, Megan, Billy, Kevin, Matthew, Jason, Jake. 17 great grandchildren: Journey, Zoe, Kenzie, Joseph V, Katness, Hunter, Austyn, Aubrey, Tanner, Walker, Hailey, Scarlet, Autumn, Zeke, Xander, Lilly, Maggie. And 2 great-great grandchildren. Isaac and Elijah.
As well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2026, at the Valencia Valley Cowboy Church (1 AT&T Road, Los Lunas) at 11:00 am. A fellowship and lunch will follow at the Bosque Farms Community Center at 1:00 pm (950 N Bosque Loop, Bosque Farms).
