Frances Chavira Obituary
Frances G. Chavira Age 80 yrs, a resident of Tome, NM, was born on November 17, 1944, and passed away on February 9, 2025.
Frances was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, NM.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Frances G. Chavira was the heart of our family. She freely shared her love and laughter with all of us. Our Mom will be remembered for her cheerful personality and her effortlessness when making new friends. Frances had the ability to find humor in everything. Her laughter and cute facial expressions were contagious. She brightened our days and filled our hearts with joy.
Frances had several true loves; first and foremost, she loved her husband, Manuel, of sixty-three years. You rarely saw one without the other. Over the sixty plus years Manuel and Frances were married, they raised a family of six sons and one daughter in a happy and loving home. To her tribute, they are all fun-loving, thoughtful adults who have raised kind-hearted children of their own.
So, it is with great sorrow and gratitude that we have to say goodbye to our beautiful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. We give thanks for the lessons you shared with us, the love you showered us with, and the many happy memories. Each of us will carry our own special memories and you will live forever in our hearts.
Frances is preceded in death by her son, Carlos Chavira, her Father and Mother Rafael and Bernadita Gutierrez, her brothers, Ralph and David Gutierrez, sister-in-laws, Carol Gutierrez, Doris Gutierrez, and Berlinda Gutierrez. Brother-in-law Johnny Perea, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, and Cousins.
Frances is survived by her children Robert and family, Manuel and his wife Margaret and family, Daniel and family, Cindy and family, Steven and his wife Shawna and family, and Vincent and family. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild, her brothers and her sister and their families.
Services for Frances will be announced at a later date.
