Elenita Elsie Jaramillo known lovingly to many as Helen Graeber, passed from this life on April 29 ,2026 at the age of 78 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on October 6, 1947 in Cebolla, New Mexico to beloved mother Isabel Bustos and beloved father Elijio Jaramillo, she was one of 13 children.
Helen was a Christian woman whose life reflected the values she held so dear, she was funny, kind and her presence brought warmth and comfort to all who were blessed to know her. Helen had a heart for music; it often reflected the spirit of gratitude and praise that guided her life. She found delight in songs that lifted the soul and celebrated the Goodness of God. She will be remembered most for her love for Jesus, the Gospel music she sang everyday, dancing to New Mexico Spanish during the Our Lady Of Belen Fiestas and especially her love for Elvis Presley.
Helen is survived by her two loving sons Elvin Graeber, and Johnny and Camy Miller. Her two brothers Pedro Jaramillo, and Daniel and Brenda Jaramillo, her grandchildren Kevin Miller, Kaylee Miller and 4 great grandchildren . She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews who she cared for like her own. To name a few, Helen is preceded by Porfirio Ignacio and Feliz Jaramillo her Paternal Grandparents, Danue & Maria Elena Bustos her Maternal Grandparents, Elijio and Isabel Jaramillo her Parents, Maria Dolores Lucero her Sister, and Gary Louis Lucero her Nephew.
Helen's life was a testimony of faith, she was the kind of woman who made others feel valued, and loved. Her laughter could brighten a room, and her gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who met her. She will be remembered not only for the things she enjoyed, but for the way she lived, with a heart open to God and to others. As her family and friends mourn her passing, they also give thanks for the gift of her life. They remember a woman who loved the Lord, loved her family, and loved the simple joys that made life beautiful. Her earthly journey has ended, but her faith has carried her into the eternal peace promised to those who believe in Jesus Christ. May she rest in the loving arms of her Savior, and may her memory continue to be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service for Helen is to be held at a later date.
