Henry Vigil Obituary
Henry Martin Vigil, 81, of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on January 11, 1945, Henry lived a life filled with hard work, laughter, friendship, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved spending time outside and had a lifelong passion for cars. Whether he was talking about engines, enjoying the open air, or sharing stories with those around him, Henry found joy in the simple moments and the people he met along the way.
Henry will be remembered most for his warm personality and his ability to make friends wherever he went. He never met a stranger he couldn't strike up and conversation and friendship with. His kindness, humor, and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Vigil Married 58 years; his children, Shannon Callahan, Krista Vigil, and Rodney Vigil; his cherished grandchildren, Kristin, Haley, Taylor, Leanne, Abel, Tori, and Tristin; and his beloved great-grandchildren, Levi, Colter, Ivan, Jaxon, Otto, Baz, Ella, Jovani, and Cheyanne, along his parents Felipe and Anna Vigil many siblings and many extended family members and countless friends.
Henry's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Services for Henry will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A visitation will be held at 9:30 am, followed by the rosary at 10:00 am. A mass will be recited at 10:30 am.
