Hilda Socorro (Maez) Montano

Hilda Montaño, age 78, passed away on September 14, 2026. She was born on
January 9, 1948, and lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished hobbies.

Hilda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Feliciano Montaño; her parents,
Polo and Arcida Maez; her father and mother-in-law, Bonifacio and Antonia Montaño;
her brothers, Harold and Jimmy Paul Maez.

She is survived by her son, Philip (Jackie) and his children Mario (Deanna), Norene
(Andy), and Carlos Montaño; her son Roger (Antoinette) and his son Zachary (Ashley);
two great-grandchildren, Eli and Jaxson Baker; her sister, Yolanda McKinley; her sister-
in-law, Filomena Rigales.

Hilda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for sewing, took great
pride in tending to her rose garden, and enjoyed spending time at the casino. Hilda
cherished traveling with her family, creating lasting memories and adventures that will
be forever treasured by those she loved. Her warmth, creativity, and boundless love for
her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19, at 1:00 pm at 15 Autumn
Breeze, Los Lunas, NM.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24, at 10:30 am at Tome Catholic Church Los Lunas, NM.
