Hope S Romo

1966-2021
Our Beloved Hope Romo, born July 2, 1966, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, just 3 months after the death of her sister Rebecca back in June 2021. Hope was a strong, beautiful, loving, caring woman. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Hope was very captivating and always putting others before herself and helping in any way she could, even on her roughest days. Unfortunately, a part of her was taken when she lost her sister. Hope started her profession as a cosmetologist 37 years ago. She loved making her clients feel good about themselves, but they weren't just her clients, they created amazing bonds of friendships. Hope had such an infectious laugh and personality. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Trujeque Romo; father, Hilario (Lalo) Romo; niece, Crystal Romo; and sister, Rebecca Chavez. Hope is survived by her daughters, Marissa and Tiffany Montoya; grandson, Santiago (Pumpkin); Max Montoya (whom she shared her daughter with); brother-in-law, Thomas Chavez; nephew, Josh Chavez; and great-niece, Arianna Romo. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Hope will always be in our hearts and forever missed. It's not Goodbye, its We'll See You Later. Services will be at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley, on Saturday, October 23, 2021. A Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a funeral service to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
