Isabel "Nani" (Montoya) Peralta

Isabel “Nani” Peralta 61, a resident of Socorro, NM, passed away on April 18, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Isabel found passion in providing daycare services in her home for many years; loving and caring for each and every child as if they were her own. She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything. She was always willing to lend a hand and always put others priorities before her own. She made a lasting impression with everyone she met. Isabel is preceded in death by her Father, Jacob Barela Montoya; Brother, Leonard A. Montoya; Grandmother, Sadie Pazzaro; and Uncle, Henry Padilla. She is survived by her devoted husband, Norbert Peralta; Children,  Daughter Julia A. Aguilar (Steven), Son Norbert A. Peralta (Brittany), Daughter Stephanie R. Vega (Mark), and Son Derek A. Peralta; as well as her 8 grandchildren, Ashlyn, Alyssa, Issac, Gianna, Jacob, Dominic, Lucas and Aviyah. She is also survived by her mother, Toni P. Montoya; Brother, Jake Montoya, and Sister Margaret Tafoya; as well as many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. Services for Isabel will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, NM. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 am with Mass immediately following at 10:00am. Isabel will be laid to rest at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery immediately following services. Pallbearers will be Julia Aguilar, Norbert Peralta, Stephanie Vega and Rachel Padilla. Honorary pallbearers are Derek Peralta, Issac Vega, Ashlyn Aguilar and Gianna Peralta.
