Israel Benitez

Israel Benitez, age 52, of Belen, New Mexico, passed away at his home on November 27, 2022. Israel was a kind and loving person, and though he didn't have much, he gave what little he had to the people he loved the most. Israel loved and cared for his daughter, Melinda and his godson, Chazrique. Although he was not her biological dad he cared for and loved Melinda greatly. He dedicated his life for her as long as she was loved and taken care of. His life was his family and friends that cared and loved him for who he was. Israel will be greatly missed by friends and family he leaves behind. Israel is preceded in death by his mother, Socorro Benitez; and his brother, Eliseo Benitez. He is survived by his sister, Bertha Calderon and husband Sergio; his brothers, Isaac Benitez and wife Cynthia; Isaios Benitez and wife Linda; Isachar Benitez and wife Andrea Santillanes; and Isai Benitez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services for Israel will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, New Mexico. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 am and will be followed by the Mass at 10:00 am. Israel will then be laid to rest at the Los Lentes Cemetery in Los Lunas, New Mexico immediately following the Mass. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
