James "Jim" Anderson, age 77, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, born on June 5, 1946, passed away on April 16, 2024. "The world is a lesser place without him, but Heaven just became even more beautiful."
James was a Navy Veteran and graduated UNM with a degree in Power & Energy Systems. Retired project manager from the Department of Energy, former manager of WIPP and UMTRA with a presidential award for energy savings to the US Government. James was a self-taught artist with paintings shown in Oil Painters of America and The National Water Color Society.
James is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Audrey Anderson, brothers Bob and David Anderson.
James is survived by wife of 56 years Janice, daughter Tammy Anderson, son David Anderson and wife Trena, three grandchildren Savannah, Makayla, and Colton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UNMH Children's Hospital or Road Runner Food Bank.
