Jesus Olivas

Jesus Olivas, age 21, a long time resident of Los Lunas New Mexico passed on December 31st
2025.
Born on April 4th 2004 in Brighton Colorado to parents Maria Lourdes Muñoz and Javier Olivas.
Jesus graduated from Valencia High School in 2022. He was an apprentice at the local SMART
Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 49 where he learned to work with sheet metal and install air
ducts for Miller Bonded Inc Throughout the state.
Jesus was a lifelong lover of cars, trucks and anything with wheels. He enjoyed spending time
working on various vehicles he owned. A problem solver who liked to take action to his own
hands and fine tune his vehicles to near perfection. Jesus could also often be found on the
mesa riding his four wheeler with his friends.
Though his absence leaves an ache, his legacy lives on in the countless stories told with smiles,
and the love he so freely shared. He will be remembered not only for the joy he brought into our
lives, but for the way he made us better simply by being himself.
He is survived by his father Javier and brother Francisco.
Services will be held at Mission San Juan Diego Church on Thursday, January 15th at 10 AM.
