John James Moran

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John James Moran, who peacefully passed away on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2025.

He was born May 6, 1940, in County Mayo, Ireland as the 5th of 6 children to James and Kate Moran (Murphy). John immigrated to Buffalo, New York and proudly became a naturalized US citizen. He began his career at General Motors and retired after 30 years.

He married Susan Moran (Smith.) Together, they have three children, Padraic Moran, Erin Moran-Shields (Rance Shields), Shannon Camponovo (John Dominic Camponovo). John and Sue later moved to Belen, New Mexico and enjoyed their life in their new community.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Roos, Agnes Hayes and his brother Martin Moran. John also leaves behind his loving wife Sue, his three children and his beloved grandchildren, Sean Moran, Kate Murphy Camponovo and Ivy Camponovo. At this time, there are no services planned.
