Johnny Ray Ortiz 52, was born on July 1, 1972, and passed away on February 25, 2025. He was a resident of Valencia County.

Johnny Ray was preceded in death by his Grandma Irene Duran, Auntie Gloria Garcia, Uncles; Lawrence Garcia, Simon Jake & Ruben Romero. Niece, Officer Raquel Sachs.

He is survived by; His daughters; Eden & Ashley Ortiz. His Sister; Darlene Deleon. His Nephew Herman Sachs. His Grandkids Jr, Alexis & Vicente Rendon. And his Mom Connie.

Johnny Ray enjoyed working on vehicles and going to the casinos, he was always happy to spend time with his grandkids. He was a man that took joy in simple things and he didn't ask for a lot. He had a special bond with his good friend Roberta and her family that took him in as their own family. Johnny Ray was a man with such a big heart, He always helped anyone that needed help even when he was struggling himself. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew him.

Services for Johnny will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A visitation will take place at 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:000 am. A reception will be held following services at Belen Eagle Park Recreation Center.
