Jordyn Breckenridge, age 24, of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 7, 2023.
She is survived by her mother, Kimberley Breckenridge; father, John Breckenridge; step-father, Chris Griego; grandparents, Mike and Kathy Breckenridge; sisters, Ashley Peralta, Morgan, Wendy, and Ashley Griego; niece, Serenity Anaya; nephews, Noah Anaya, and Blake Griego. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jordyn was such a risk taker. She had an iron will that would not bend, and always lived her life HER way. She was a very sensitive and caring person and could always pick up on the moods of others. She loved animals more than people, and seemed to find lost dogs and somehow persuade a family member to make a forever home for them. Jordyn loved Spiderman and all of the Marvel characters. She was such a nerd and did not care who knew it. One of her absolute favorite places to visit was the Zoo. She dreamed of working at a Zoo or working at a rehabilitation center for animals. She enjoyed playing video games. She also loved the water and the beach and one day had hoped to learn how to surf. Jordyn loved her family fiercely, and was loved by many. We are struck by the enormous void that Jordyn leaves behind. We are comforted by the countless memories we share with her, and the love that will never fade. Jordyn, while you may be gone, your light will forever shine in our hearts.
Services for Jordyn will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A Visitation will be held at 10:30 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
