It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Joseph Daniel Marquez, who left us on September 6, 2026, at the age of 39.
He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend whose presence brought laughter, love, and unforgettable memories to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was someone who truly loved life. He was spunky, fun-loving, caring, and full of personality. His sense of humor, his smile, and the way he could bring a little light into any room will forever be remembered by those who loved him. He had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for, and his memories will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Virginia Marquez, and his brother, Aaron Cortez, whom he now joins in eternal rest.
He leaves behind his beloved children, Jazmine Beltran and Antonio Beltran, who were important part of his life and whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his oldest sister, Ashley Gonzalez, along with extended family members, friends, and countless loved ones whose lives were touched by his passing.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will remain with us forever.
His life was a gift, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
May he rest peacefully in the arms of those who went before him, and may his loved ones find comfort in knowing that his love will continue to live on through his children and everyone who knew him.

A graveside service for Joseph will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen, New Mexico.
