Justin Torres Obituary

Justin Maxsimo Torres

A beloved son and brother, Justin Maxsimo Torres, age 38, of Bosque Farms, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on March 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. Justin was born on February 11, 1987, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Portales High School in 2005 and obtained a degree from Central New Mexico Community College and attended both Eastern New Mexico University and the University of New Mexico. He was an Eagle Scout and served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Arizona Tucson Mission. He was a devoted member of the church and served in many callings, of which his most current was to serve as Sunday School President of the Bosque Singles ward. He had a passion for electronics, history, and English. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Known for his dry humor and kind personality, Justin was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He was known to sneak candy to his young nephews and nieces at times. All of whom adored him and will forever miss his warmth and creativity. He was always described by his friends as being reserved and quiet but caring. He always touched the hearts of those around him through his genuine concern for others and his Christ-like example.

Justin is survived by his parents, Maxsimo Casanova Torres and Blanca
Teresa Santamarina; siblings, Carine Divett, Joaquin, Tatiana, Jarom and Cariel Torres; nephews and nieces, Liam, Javier, Mayte, and Lorenzo Divett, Teresa, Mateo, and Lucas Alvaro Torres.
