Lenny Ted Baca

Lenny Baca, age 61, born to Glisson and Rufina Baca on June 3, 1963, and a resident of Socorro, New Mexico, formerly of California, passed away on May 7, 2025.

He is preceded in passing by his parents. He is survived by his three brothers, Sammy (Julie) Baca, Ronny (Melissa) Baca, and Kenny (Velia) Baca; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Lenny had a deep love for animals, especially cats and dogs. He devoted much of his time and care to the animals that relied on his love and kindness. He sometimes put more of his care and time into them than he did the people around him. He had a creative spirit. He'd find joy in crafting spiritual items like crosses from string, branches, wood, and plastic.

His thoughtfulness extended to every guest who visited his parent's home; he'd always make sure they felt welcome and comfortable. Above all, his parents meant the world to him, and he dedicated his life to caring for them until their passing.

Though Lenny was a humble, and private soul, he found joy in the simple pleasures, like sharing a drink and laughter with his three brothers. He was a man of quiet strength, deep love, and true kindness.

Services for Lenny will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, New Mexico. Visitation will take place at 9:00 am, followed by a rosary at 9:30 am. Mass will then be recited at 10:00 am. Inurnment will immediately follow the mass at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery.
