Leroy Casaus was born to Matilda and Daniel Casaus on February 6, 1966 in Albuquerque, NM and passed away on November 28, 2021 surrounded by his family. Leroy married his love of his life Cathy Perez on May 14, 1988. Together, they raised two children, his “champ” Elias and “little sweetie” Amanda and later became a proud Papa of 3 grandchildren Luke, Ayla and Alec. Leroy was a well respected and influential leader, devoting himself to a career of 33 years to Penske Truck Leasing. He was a man of great faith, an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed riding his Harley with family and friends, camping, hunting and being in nature. Leroy was welcomed into heaven by his father Daniel Casaus, granddaughter Ayla Grace Mendez, suegro and suegra Richard and Carmen Perez, brother Rudy Archuleta, and brother-in-law Chris Perez. Leroy will be missed by his wife of 33 years Cathy Casaus, children Elias Casaus, wife Brandi, and Amanda Mendez, husband Nick, grandsons Luke and Alec Mendez, parents Matilda and Eugenio Archuleta, siblings Donna Torrez (Gilbert), Carlos Casaus (Rosa Maria), Yolanda Archuleta (Mel), Wanda Martinez (Fernando), JoAnn Casaus (Brian), Mario Archuleta (Amanda), Gene Archuleta (Veronica), and Mike Archuleta (Mariana), sisters and brothers-in-law Richard Perez Jr. (Kathryn), Dolores Marquez (Dennis), Sarah Perez (Cesar), Gene Perez (Bernadette), and Carmela Martinez (PJ), god-daughter, Miranda Gomez, special family member Rosa Sifuentes, special dogs Cooper and Orie, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends. A public visitation will take place at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel on Sunday, December 5, at 3:30 pm. A rosary will be recited immediately following. A final visitation will take place on Monday, December 6, at 9:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Church of Tome with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Interment will follow the mass at the Tome Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis and Johnathan Marquez, Carlos Piro, Brett Schram, Mario and Santino Archuleta, Carlos Rivera, and PJ Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke and Alec Mendez, Daniel and Diego Torrez, Leanne Schram, and his godchildren Tania Casaus, Trinity Perez, Vicente Lovato, Carmela Martinez, and Alexis Tafoya. The family would like to extend an invitation for anyone who wishes to wear Harley attire for the funeral to join them.
