Lorraine Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruby Lorraine Davis, age 81.
Lorraine and her twin brother Lynn were born at the Tall House in Luna, New Mexico, on October 31, 1943. Our mother passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at her home in San Antonio, New Mexico. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking for her friends and family.
She was the beloved wife of Gene Davis (dec.) for 56 years. She was a devoted mother to her four children: Pam Wood (Steve), Carey Goodman (Eric), Brandy Greenwood (Curtis), Bobby Long (Brenda), and a grandmother to 9 grandchildren: Tye Goodman, Lacy Sloane (David), Fallon Kartchner (Freeman), Janessa Goodman, Dani Goodman, Tyler Greenwood (Alize), and McKenzie Greenwood, and 19 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Mom is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Davis; her parents, Clark and Ruby Russell; her brothers, John, Bud, and Lynn (twin), Leonard; her sisters, Bertha, Betty, and Emma; and her granddaughters, Kaitlin Stampfly and Lyndsey Goodman.
Services will be held at the Eagar, Arizona, Cemetery on August 30, 2025.
