In Loving Memory of Lorraine Sanchez

Lorraine Sanchez was born on April 22, 1956, and passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026.

Lorraine worked for UNM Hospitals for 23 years. Later in life, many will remember her from Mike's Place. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Stacy Espinoza (Curtis) and Andrea Sanchez; her son, Marcos Sanchez; and her stepson, Bobby Joe Sanchez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Louie Sanchez Jr., Atiana Sanchez, Lorenzo Espinoza, Leah Sanchez, Joshlyn Sanchez, Marcos Sanchez Jr., Ameri Gomez, Daniel Sanchez, Ciara Robinson, Estrella Archuleta, Jade Archuleta, Carlos Archuleta, Amerie Gonzales, and Jazmine Garcia; seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lolita Salazar, Elizabeth Nieto, Mary Lou Duran, and Patricia Nieto; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lucy Nieto; her husband, Robert Sanchez; her son, Carlos Archuleta; and her grandson, Robert Sanchez.

Lorraine loved to cook and bake for her family, sharing her love through the meals and treats she prepared for those around her. Her family will forever cherish the love and memories she gave them.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lorraine's caretakers and family who welcomed her as part of their family and took such wonderful care of her, especially Yvonne and Jessica DeLeon.

Services for Lorraine will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM, on Thursday, October 8, 2026. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 am, followed by the mass at 11:00 am. Lorraine will then be placed to rest at Mt. Calvary cemetery immediately following the services. Reception will immediately follow.
