Louis Frank Martinez Jr.

Louis F. Martinez, Jr. aged 60 passed away peacefully at his home with family present as he entered the Kingdom of God on January 9, 2021. Louis was born on April 4, 1960 to Louis and Ruth Martinez in Tucumcari, NM. He attended the local schools there. Through varied paths he became an electrician and worked in the Albuquerque area. Eventually he had his own business as an electrician. Due to a disability, Louis was forced retired early. He lived in his home in Los Lunas, New Mexico with his sweet dog and constant companion, Jacque or Jac, as he loved to call her. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis F. Martinez, nephew, Noah Runyan, and brother, James (Jim) Martinez, paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts and uncles. Louis is survived by his mother, Ruth Martinez; sisters Fran Tollett, Joyce Runyan (Gordan); brother, Arthur Martinez; nephews, nieces, beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As we realized that our time on this earth is short, it reminded us that everyone will eventually die. The important thing is what happens after that moment. It is with great joy and assurance that the family grieves with hope knowing that one day they will be reunited with their dear Louis. He will be whole and restored by the grace and mercy of God. Please join the family at a memorial service on January 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Tucumcari, NM at Immanuel Baptist Church.
