Marguerite R. Sons August 17, 1929 - June 3, 2025
Marguerite (Maggie) was born to Walter V. and Marguerite J. Meech in Philadelphia, PA.
In 1943, at the age of 14, Maggie moved with her family to Albuquerque, NM. That's where she met the love of her life, Mack. They married in April 1947 and had two daughters, Pam and Paula. Maggie was a homemaker and the love she had for her family and home was an obvious blessing.
Maggie was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Marguerite Meech, brothers, Walter and Charles Meech and her husband of 71 years, Mack Sons.
Maggie is survived by her sister, Alice Edwards, her daughters Pamela Ahlgrim (John) and Paula Middlesworth (Kenneth), grandchildren, Bradley Ahlgrim (Annette), Scott Ahlgrim (Amy), Christopher Ahlgrim (Brittany), Kimberly Berscheid (Aaron) and Krista Butters (Jason), 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
We are extremely grateful for the kindness, respect and love she received at the Beehive Home in Bosque Farms, NM, for the past two years. It became her home away from home.
Maggie lived her life with love and grace. As we are filled with sadness, our hearts are full of her love, laughter and memories that will live forever.
A celebration of her life will be held July 26, 2025, 11:00, at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.
