Maria L (Gonzales) Alderete

Maria Luisa Gonzales Alderete, age 84 surrounded by her family passed away on April 5, 2021
at her lifelong residence in Belen, NM. She was born to Frank R. Gonzales and Lenore Castillo-
Gonzales in Belen. Luisa was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Luisa received her
education at Belen High School, Class of 1957. Then met the love of her life James Alderete and
married August 9, 1969.
Luisa was preceded in death by her father and mother, Frank R. Gonzales and Lenore Castillo-
Gonzales, sister, Reyes Gonzales; brother, Pablo Salomon Gonzales and her great-
granddaughter Lilyana Chavez A.
Luisa leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, James Alderete; Hortensia L. Alderete,
daughter; Lorenzo A. Alderete, son; two siblings "Cirilo" John Gonzales and Rosa Nellie Garcia;
six grandkids, Larrissa A. Chavez-Alderete, Jayla Y. Alderete, Lorenzo J. Alderete, Andres R.
Alderete, Samuel J. Chavez and Elidy Chavez; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel at 2:00pm on Sunday, April
11, 2021.
