Mercedes Gurule, age 83, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on, Monday, August 30, 2021. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church. Mercedes resided with her sister and brother-in-law Paul and Bobbie Vaisa. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose I. and Barbarita Gurule; sister, Eloisa Castillo; brothers, Pilar, Agapito, Gillie, and Louie Gurule. Mercedes is survived by her sister, Bobbie Vaisa (Paul); brothers, Martin (Sally), Ernie (Mary), Frank (Pamela); special nieces, Stacey Vaisa, and Serena Gonzales; nephews, Samuel Gonzales, Joseph Gurule, and Charles Vaisa, and several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her aunt, Celestina Marquez. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
