Michael Lynn Stubbs

Michael Lynn Stubbs, passed away from this world into the hands of his Savior, on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, after a short illness. He will always be remembered and loved.

Michael was born in Taipei, (Formosa), to Billy Norman and Doris Jeanette Stubbs.

He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jamie Stubbs; grandparents, Arthur and Cora Stubbs; Clarence and June Hotovec; aunts, Carolyn and Carol Hotovec; uncle, Chares Edgington and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Michael leaves his daughter, Julia Stubbs of CA, and son, Johnathan Stubbs of Albuquerque, NM; siblings, Richard (Stacey) Stubbs, of Iowa and Robert (Brenda) Stubbs and Theresa (James) Hakeman of NM.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Johnathan, and longtime friend Scott Stipe of NM. Michael honorably served for four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Midway CV41 out of Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan. He also served in the Gulf War during operation Desert Storm and always wore his Naval baseball hats.

Michael was known for his sarcastic humor of life. He always knew his constitutional rights and would ensure you knew them.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
