Noemi (Guerrero) Resler

Noemi Resler, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM for over 50 years passed away on April 6, 2026. Noemi was born in Del Valle, TX and was one Basilia of seven children born to Benito and Basilia Guerrero.

Noemi is survived by her husband, Fred Resler, Daughter Cathy Waters (Van Gennip), her son-in-law Matt Waters, both of Albuquerque, NM and two sisters Delores Rositas and Tina Soares, both from the surrounding Austin, TX area. She also has a tabby cat named Lillie and a grand-dog Bella.

Noemi retired after 36 years while working in hotel banquets as a server and later as a Banquet Captain at the Four Seasons, Clarion and Radisson Hotels in Albuquerque. In her pastime, Noemi enjoyed traveling across the US, attending numerous rodeo and western music shows as a jewelry exhibitor and attendee. Her passions included gardening in her backyard, collecting crystal glassware pieces, and enjoying a large number of holiday Santa Claus statues and clowns. She loved wearing all sorts of sunglasses, hats, boots and other fun clothing and never went out without her lipstick. She loved helping people and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by both family and friends who treasured her love for life and spirited personality.
