Patricia Aragon Obituary

Patricia Aragon, 74, of Rio Communities, passed away on February 27, 2026. Born on June 1, 1951, at Fort Hood Military Base in Killeen, Texas, Patricia graduated from Manzano High School in 1969. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, with a deep appreciation for reading, music, fashion, shopping, and cats.

She was an exceptional human being, gentle and patient. Patricia often shared pastries which she lovingly prepared, with her students and bought hair clips for the girls, small gestures that revealed her tenderness and generosity. She was always willing to help others and worked beautifully with those around her, sensing their needs with empathy and grace. Patricia was elegant and captivating, carrying herself with freshness and style and always dressed in a sense of artistry and refined taste. Her heart was full of love.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Pope; mother, Florance (Kline) Pope; brothers, Thomas Pope and John (Jack) Pope; sister, Deborah Disanti; and husband, Leo Aragon. Patricia is survived by her son, Eduardo Aragon; daughter, Lalena Aragon; grandchildren, Tayshaun Williams, Estella Silva and grand dog, Puff; sister, Dixie Davidson (John); brother-in-law, David Disanti; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, Pat Marsh, Kathy Lamar and Jean Chavez.

"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."

A memorial for Patricia Aragon will be held on Sunday, March 15,2026 at 2pm at Vista Del Rio Club House in Rio Communities. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Patricia's life.
