Patricia Ann (Howard) Tarry

1943-2025 Patricia A Tarry, age 82, a resident of Las Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully at Three Crosses Hospital, Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

She was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Albuquerque NM. Patricia graduated from Belen High School in 1961. She then married LB Tarry on October 28, 1961, at the First Baptist Church of Belen, NM, where they were members at the time. Patricia was a wife, mother, and homemaker.

Her love for music was passed on to her two children. She played piano and organ for the First Baptist Church of both Belen and Los Chavez. She also was a children's choir director at the First Baptist Church of Belen. She was a member of First Baptist Church Las Cruces.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband LB Tarry and parents Thad and Erma Howard.

She is survived by her two loving children. Son, Travis and wife Evelyn of Las Cruces, NM and daughter, Linda Brasier and husband Robert of Gilbert AZ; brother, Jim Howard and wife Janie of Benson, AZ; grandchildren, Rachel Gentry and husband Austin of Las Cruces, NM; Tarry Michael Brasier of Gilbert, AZ; and Emma Brasier of Gilbert, AZ, and two great grandsons Aiden Gentry and Ronen Gentry of Las Cruces, NM. Patricia is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services for Patricia will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Los Chavez. A visitation will take place at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. A private graveside burial will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
