Patrick Roger Ortiz Jr. was born on July 6, 1982, at 11:17 a.m. in Belen, New Mexico, to his loving parents, Pat and Corina Ortiz. Patrick passed away on August 24, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a love that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Patrick was a fun-loving, kindhearted soul who had a true passion for life. He loved music, basketball, traveling, cooking, and bringing people together. He was a proud Raiders fan, loved his gummy bears, and always enjoyed a big bowl of fruit salad. He had an adventurous spirit and loved exploring new places. His travels took him to Spain and on many other adventures that gave him memories and stories he treasured throughout his life.

Music held a very special place in Patrick's heart, especially when it brought his family together. He loved playing the cajón with his brother, Erineo, and treasured the times they made music together with his dad and his mom playing the guitar. Those moments filled with music, laughter, family, and love were a beautiful reflection of the things that mattered most to Patrick.

Patrick loved to cook and host family and friends. His home and his heart were always open to the people he cared about. Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday, and he loved being surrounded by family, good food, laughter, and togetherness. He also loved Halloween and especially enjoyed dressing up and celebrating with his girls.

Above everything else in Patrick's life were his two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Melody. His girls were his pride and joy, and he loved them more than words could ever express. Being their father was one of the greatest joys of his life. Patrick also had a special place in his heart for all the children in his family. He loved them dearly and enjoyed the happiness and laughter they brought into his life.

Patrick was known for having an incredibly generous and caring heart. He was the kind of person who would give someone the shirt off his back without thinking twice. He cared deeply for others and had a way of making people feel loved and welcomed. He treasured his friendships, and his kindness, laughter, generosity, and love touched more lives than he probably ever realized.

Patrick was loved by so many, and in return, he loved so many with his whole heart. He was fun-loving, adventurous, and always ready to explore, laugh, make music, share a meal, or create another memory with the people he cared about.

Patrick is survived by his loving parents, Pat and Corina Ortiz; his beloved daughters, Sophia and Melody; the loving mother of his children, Celina, whom Patrick loved with all his heart; his sister, Cierra, and brother-in-law, Daryn; his brother, Erineo; his niece, Iris; his nephew, Kevin; as well as his uncles, aunties, cousins, extended family, and many dear friends.

Although Patrick's time here was far too short, the love he gave will continue through his daughters, his family, his friends, and every person whose life was made a little brighter because Patrick was a part of it.

His laughter will be remembered. His music will be remembered. His kindness will be remembered. And most of all, the tremendous love he had for his girls and his family will never be forgotten.

Patrick Roger Ortiz Jr. will forever be loved, deeply missed, and carried in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his music continue in Heaven, and may his beautiful spirit live on through every memory he left behind.
